"A plein-air of the corners of my mind"
“The mind is a world builder of ever-changing autonomous landscapes. For three years I have been painting these landscapes, and the results are my attempt to represent them just as they’ve come to me. A plein-air of the corners of my mind.”
The landscapes are found in dreams, meditation, and automation. What are our dreams but many pieces of familiarity at work as the subconscious moves the pieces in an effort to communicate. Exploration of these landscapes brings hope to create connections with viewers by offering opportunities to share personal experiences anonymously on site at the show. The latter element, one of several, a part of the artist’s attempts to make his art accessible to all gives opportunity to obtain art at no cost to the viewer.
