When you're in front of a microphone, you command attention. For me as a visual artist, it's a little different. I want to be heard as an artist, but in order for you to hear me you have to see me or more specifically a footprint I've left behind. I rely on an image that I hope will stop you, take you to a state of mind in which everything around you becomes quiet and you only hear what you see. My father was an artist who died with his song still inside him, I'm determined not to do the same. Hear me out.
